The Hall is decked at Tassles...

Hi everyone...

Welcome to all my new followers!

I am thrilled that you are here...

Time flies when you having fun...

I still have boxes of Christmas goodies strewn all about House Tassels...sigh.

We only put up our fresh pine Christmas tree around about the 15th in the heat over here, so it lasts, and anyway, they are only available around that time...hence the boxes!

I have decked the hall and I have managed to progress to the lounge as well, but for now let me show you the hallway...

Santa greets you as you enter the door...and gives you the "once over" through his spectacles...

Below him, is my nod to a bit o' kitch...under my mini cloches.

A bit of sparkle never did anyone any harm...

...and I happen to like tinsel!

...well, Mr. Mouse seems quite content with my sparkly bits....

...and , every time the door opens and shuts, this dude chimes in with his bell...

The winter coats have been archived in the cupboard and the Christmas stocking has claimed the coat stand...

The hall table has been adorned with my feathered Christmas trees and some conifer branches and of course the cloche.

I added a few baubles.

My son tried a few bloggy shots with my camera!

There is so much wonderful inspirational  and festive decor around Blogland and I have been having a wonderful time touring some bloggy friends homes from around the world. It has indeed been a joy and privilege to be able to share in the festive activities with some very talented people. I have had a great time and I would like to thank you all for the sheer delight of it all.

There has naturally also bee a host of fun activities to join in and today I wil be joining:

  1. Looking good!!! I love your feather trees. My boxes are still in the loft. I have to get past Thursday MrB's Birthday. Then at the weekend, it all happens. I love Christmas but have to wait till the "Christmas feeling” kicks in the god help every one around me. I love to cook lots of homemade goodies and decorating the house normally takes all day sometimes longer. Having six grandchildren makes it extra special. My granddaughter Layla who is 14 has set us all a challenge this year. We have all picked a name out of a hat and we have to buy the oddest thing for no more than £1.00 for the person you have picked gifts are to be exchanged at dinner. Anything that creates laughter is great by me.
looking forward to seeing more of you festive decorating.
    Have a great week

  5. It's all looking gorgeous! I love red at this time of year, and think that something is missing when a house is decorated in turquoise or some other pastel shade for the holidays.
